After completely revamping our English website, MCIS just updated the French edition with the new look as well! All of our pages' interfaces, with the exception of blogs, have been localized and translated into French.
In the near future, there will be more features to our website that we're currently relentlessly working on, and we can't wait to share with you soon!
In March, MCIS was honoured to be a part of #Gala2023, an annual intersection of learning and networking for the globalization and localization industry to connect and collaborate.
The GALA Conference this year was held in Dublin. Our Executive Director, Latha, delivered a powerful and engaging presentation at the conference about how MCIS, a not-for-profit company, was able to introduce the social purpose and humanitarian perspectives into the industry.

Educating Language Rights:
Our Language Rights Canada Conference 2023
Last month, MCIS sponsored and co-hosted the Our Language Rights Canada Conference 2023. This year’s Language Right Conference theme was Language, Education and Stories Untold.
Through two keynote speeches and four panels, language advocates, academics and panelists working in other fields that intersect with language industry shared their stories and perspectives on education in the fight to language barriers. Topics discussed included defending Inuit language rights, stressing on the importance of education in Indigenous language revitalization, saving the endangered Maritime Sign Language (MSL) and more. In our blog "Educating Language Rights: Our Language Rights Canada Conference 2023," we have documented the stories told by our panelists and keynote speakers on their journey and mission.
